AI Site Plan Review
Upload architectural drawing sets and get an automated compliance checklist generated against your city's zoning requirements — reducing the time spent on initial plan checks.
Availability: This feature is enabled for select cities. If you do not see AI Site Plan Review in your navigation, it is not yet available for your city.
Supported file types
How to submit a site plan
Click "AI Site Plan Review" in the navigation menu.
Click "Upload Site Plan" or drag and drop your PDF onto the upload area.
Wait for the file to upload and process. For large drawing sets this may take a minute.
Once processing completes, the review results appear automatically.
What the AI reviews
The system examines each sheet in the drawing set and:
Identifies sheet types — Title sheet, site plan, floor plans, elevations, structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscape, and more.
Checks compliance items — For each applicable discipline, it checks whether required information is present and meets city-specific standards.
Generates a checklist — Each item is marked as Pass, Fail, or Needs Review with a brief explanation.
Reading the results
The results page shows a sheet index, a compliance checklist grouped by discipline, and an overall summary. Each checklist item has one of three statuses:
Pass
The required information is present and appears to meet the standard.
Fail
The required information is missing or clearly does not meet the standard.
Needs Review
The AI could not determine compliance with confidence — human review is required.
Limitations
The AI review is a screening tool, not a final determination. A permit technician must confirm all findings before issuing a permit.
Handwritten annotations and low-resolution scans may reduce accuracy.
Only city-specific requirements configured by your administrator are checked. Requirements may be updated over time.
Re-submitting
You can upload a revised drawing set at any time. Each upload creates a new review — previous results are not overwritten.
